It has been quite some time since I have made an entry, this might be due to the fact that my laptop has officially taken the nose-dive! And, I feel completely removed from the planet! Lame and totally technologically dependent, I know.
A few new things:
I find myself waking up everyday smiling, and am so thankful for this...mainly because there are so many things to frown about but I am so lucky to have a select few people in my life who completely outweigh the bad.
I have a new appreciation for cleaning and maids. Those of you who know me well know where this statement is coming from...from the literal gagging reflex which occurred when I walked into the "landfill" after having been gone for a couple of weeks. I boycott being the maid!
I have had a couple of wonderful trips to the mountains to my little Ashley! One of which was during a mini Colorado road trip with mister Evan. It was a great escape, and enjoyed every bit of it!
My lovely ladies Laila and Lauren came through town and I was able to spend not one but two days with them. I cherish them dearly, they are amazing people! I wish I could see them more often.
I absolutely cannot wait for school to begin! This semester off has been torture. I want to wake up with a purpose, and that purpose being to learn and to enjoy expanding my knowledge! Books and lectures and tests, oh my! I am a nerd and I fully embrace it.
My favorite, I have come to the conclusion that everyone has good in them as well as some bad. I, unfortunately lately, have come across romantic interests who have something about them which ultimately brings out a side of me which I am not fond of. With this being said, I have encountered a special someone who constantly keeps me feeling comfortable and keeps me smiling and laughing. I feel that there is something about him which brings out the good in me, and it is a very beautiful change of pace. Time will tell, and I am willing to wait and find out. I am extremely happy with where things are at this moment, and that is all that is important.
I am crossing my fingers that I will be able to get a new computer with student loans! I love writing far too much to not be able to do this everyday!

a guide.
while talking with my dear friend this evening a light bulb went off. we think of the craziest ideas.
the straight girl and the not straight girl are writing a how-to book.
many titles are in the works, but i am fond of this one
"I'm a Winner, Seriously: I Don't Recommend Myself"
more or less, it will be things not to do while trying to date someone. since her and i have mastered probably every possibility in this area known to mankind, we might as well put it onto paper.
we will be the Chelsea Handlers of the younger and probably more drunk generation.
i am excited!
Chapter 1:
how to drink a bottle of vodka and leave your kind of lover a hate voice mail
(apparently lesbians are more forgiving of the hate messages. they don't scare as easily as boys.)
